Medical Professionals

When medically all has been done to help a patient and the search for a cure gives way to the need for comfort, you can offer your patients and their families a place to turn for help.

Hospice of Douglas County provides your patients and their families with the physical and emotional support they need when they need it most. With skilled nurses and trained volunteers available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, Hospice of Douglas County provides a valuable support structure to complement your care.  When your patients are receiving hospice care we keep you and your staff fully informed about your patients.

By referring your terminally ill patients to Hospice of Douglas County, you provide them with an alternative in care designed to help them make the most of their time with their loved ones, with the least amount of pain and discomfort possible.

Hospice of Douglas County serves your patients and their families regardless of their inability to pay for our services.  We also provide care, employ staff and offer volunteer opportunities regardless of race, religion, creed, color, gender, national origin, disability, age, diagnosis or sexual orientation.

Whether the patient is at home or in a medical facility, the hospice team will work with you to implement a plan of care that meets with your approval.  When treatment is no longer an option for your patients, we hope you’ll put Hospice of Douglas County on their side and yours.
